As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will provide counsel and oversight to a group of Software Engineers in terms of Quality Assurance together with the development manager of those teams. You will guide quality assurance process adoption within your teams by coaching them. You will focus on continuous improvement, identifying bottlenecks, points of failure and low ROI items on the system.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in software testing on your teams.
  • Act as a mentor and a role model for Quality Engineers and other teammates
  • Be the reference on all Quality Assurance aspects for your teams.
  • Work close with Quality Architects to be aligned with the company quality principles and initiatives. 
  • Review and Ensure test processes are followed and user stories are properly tested.
  • Support Quality Engineers in order to provide them guidance on the needs of your teams.
  • Promote knowledge sharing between the different Senior Quality Engineers on your group.
  • Identify training needed for Software Engineers.
  • Help of building metrics for your teams and act over them.

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks on the different testing pyramid layers.
  • Experience with different approaches and phases of manual testing.
  • Proactivity. Thinking out of the box and contributing to continuous improvements and anticipating potential issues.
  • Exceptional communication (oral/written) and presentation skills.
