What you'll do

 As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will help secure TWS’ cloud transformation journey. You will be involved in technical design decisions, POCs and work directly with Software Engineering, Architecture and DevOps to help migrate complex systems to public and hybrid cloud platforms.

You will join our Engineering Security team reporting into the Head of Engineering Security, to work with a team of passionate and highly skilled professionals to:

1.      Protect the business from fraud and external attacks,

2.      Drive a sustainable and scalable Engineering Security strategy by creating accountability at team level 

3.      Provide effective risk management by increasing visibility of threats through alerting and monitoring

You will:

  • Analyse existing system flows to determine the most secure cloud migration strategy
  • Help build secure cloud platforms using the right mix of native and custom tools
  • Define and implement IAM policies for all stages of the SDLC
  • Provide security recommendations on topics like micro-services design or cloud native application development
  • Collaborate with the wider Engineering Security team to coordinate the delivery of company level security initiatives

What you'll bring

  • Python/Shell scripting skills with strong focus on automation
  • Knowledge about Hashicorps Vault and Istio would be valuable
  • Infrastructure as Code, understanding of Terraform security
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP preferable but not essential)
  • Expert knowledge of CICD, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of IAM requirements and solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
