Your mission

Do you wish to work at the forefront of technology as part of a technically astute, passionate development team and gain experience in the emerging world Blockchain technologies?

We are expanding our London Engineering team and are looking for experienced software engineers with experience of high performing transactional financial services applications to join us! 

You will join our high-profile team of engineers, with a passion for emerging technologies. This will provide a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and develop your interests across projects in Blockchain.  

What you'll do

  • Develop high quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions
  • Own delivery of features end to end, analysis and design
  • Take ownership of systems and Servers stability over the different environments
  • Investigate new tools/technologies/ideas to promote further improvement of the system
  • Promote and enforce best practices, existing development guidelines and continuous code improvement

What you'll bring

  • Server-side Java development experience
  • Spring Boot, JPA experience
  • A proven track record of playing a hands-on role within a fast-paced organisation
  • Experience in scaling infrastructure and ensuring the system is performant
  • Good DevOps practices 
  • Experience designing and maintaining microservice based architectures
  • Experience of algorithmic programming in multiple languages
  • Passionate in building cutting-edge, high quality applications
  • Quick learner, creative thinker, researcher mind-set, delivery focus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to context switch and be adaptable to change
  • Comfortable with a “you build it, you run it” culture
  • Willingness to work outside of area of expertise
  • Strong understanding of QA concepts (TDD, BDD)

 Nice to have's

  • Experience with Cassandra or other non-relational databases
  • Experience in cryptocurrency / fintech / blockchain
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Frontend development: JavaScript, Angular, Web Components
