Your Mission

We are looking for best-in-class Security Engineers to help to protect our business and customers from the Infrastructure point of view. As a member of the team, you have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our infrastructure assets protected. You also ensure that network operations are safe by monitoring network security, adjusting hardware components, and responding to network connectivity issues.

What you'll do

  • Administrate the organization network infrastructure in a multi-location environment based in Cisco, F5 and Palo Alto.
  • Design, implementation, operations, automation, and ongoing management of security systems that safeguard data and information assets for the enterprise
  • Participate in the design and automation of data management policies, processes, and solutions for our enterprise. Specifically, this includes network security, disaster recovery, and high availability.
  • Assist with the creation of and update of network standards and ensure that the network is deployed and maintained according to those standards.
  • Maintain an up to date documentation of our network architecture.
  • Work with vendors and our purchasers to procure appropriate products and services.
  • Stay on top of network technology advancements to provide recommendations for the ongoing improvements to our networks.

What you'll bring

  • 4-6 years network security related experience
  • Operating knowledge of common LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Operating knowledge of Palo Alto devices.
  • Experience with load balancing technology, specifically F5 BigIP LTM is an asset.
  • Good experience with Cisco ASA, ISR/ASR, Catalyst and Nexus hardware.
  • Experience and understanding of the design, deployment and support of other security technologies, e.g. Suricata IDS, Vulnerability Management, Authentication and identity management, SIEM, MDM
  • Familiarity with industry security configuration standards, such as NIST and CIS
  • Candidates should also have had significant past experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, Netflow, DNS, HTTP.
  • Experience with automation and scripting in Linux environment is highly desired.
