Your mission

As Atlassian Suite Product Manager you will be in charge of the whole portfolio of Atlassian-related products ITSG offers as a service for our internal and external customers. This includes JIRA and Confluence. You'll be responsible for defining the roadmap for those products, making them future-proof while ensuring Security and data privacy requirements are fulfilled. 

You will be part of the ITSG Product Definition team, closely interacting with our Atlassian experts in the IT-Services area, for whom you will be the voice of the customer, owning the product backlog. Also, you will be interacting with our Customers and Business stakeholders in order to align requests and strategy at the company level. Also, you will ensure that any proposed solution and its implementation follows the Agile methodology

You will work closely across all aspects of the IT Product Development for Atlassian products (Product, Engineering, Operations) to ensure that the requirements are prioritized in line with the overall business goals. You will coordinate and plan across teams, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders of the upcoming releases and leading the change management activities to ensure that operational teams remain informed with minimal disruption to ongoing activities and initiatives.

You will be also responsible for the timely delivery of the agreed functionalities, actively working to remove any impediment that could potentially delay or diminish the quality of the final outcome


What you'll do

  • Be the Platform Product owner for our Atlassian products and services, defining and prioritizing requirements
  • Extract implementation and operational requirements from customer needs and proposed business strategy, being the voice of the customer
  • Interact with different stakeholders (customers, business stakeholders, Application service engineers, ITSG managers...) to provide a cohesive approach
  • Follow Agile principles both in definition and implementation process for Atlassian related products and services
  • Be the trusted advisor in term of licensing models for Atlassian projects, making sure we can fulfil growing plans for our customers
  • Proactively propose new strategies and service proposals, anticipating customers and business needs
  • Ensure platform integrity and alignment of core implementation principles among our different customers and types of users
  • Own RBAC and user models for our Atlassian products and services
  • Own operational processes for our Atlassian products and services, providing clear direction and guidelines for our Support team

What you'll bring

  • +5 years of experience in production environments for JIRA and Confluence 
  • A strong background in product management and product development. Agile Product Owner certification is a plus
  • A strong passion for Atlassian products and services along with a strong desire to improve their value to the business.
  • Proven experience in requirements lifecycle management in Agile environments
  • Good analytical, modeling and writing skills – communicate information effectively to customers, senior stakeholders, suppliers, and technical staff
  • Ability to talk to individuals and large groups about their needs and ask the right questions to identify the essential business needs
  • A proven leader who knows how to win others over to your point of view, and who has the get-up-and-go to get things done
  • Ability to communicate at the highest level both written and verbal
  • Fiercely customer-focused, highly organized and with an eye for attention to detail
  • Proven ability to proactively manage time effectively when handling multiple simultaneous projects
  • Proven experience of working effectively with globally distributed teams, customers and stakeholders
