What you'll do

We are currently looking for a creative, hands-on leader passionate about all things recruitment who will join our progressive and international TA Team based in Malaga. We are proud to recruit with a great focus on the quality of hire, candidate experience, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) while providing support to all our business leaders, as we are experiencing an exciting period of growth. 

  • Define and drive the recruitment strategy for our Malaga office, with a strong focus on Product & Engineering hiring plans
  • Lead and inspire our recruitment team, being a hands-on, servant leader who acts as a role model
  • Work using Agile and Continuous Improvement / Design Thinking principles, maintaining high delivery and project work at the same time for the TA team
  • Create, lead and drive candidate-centric focus across recruiting team
  • Partner with the business on TA-related topics
  • Partner with hiring managers for the success of each opening
  • Provide TA analytics to the Leadership team to help resource planning (reporting + prediction)
  • Be driving and being hands-on involved in hiring Director+ level roles across both offices
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive and creative with recruiting practices
  • Foster knowledge-sharing attitude within the broader People Team
  • Provide best practices w/r to sourcing, candidate experience, lean process, and DIB principles in recruiting
  • Create and foster relationships with professional organizations, vendors, educational institutions, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility

What you'll bring

  • Proven success leading talent acquisition teams in fast-paced, innovative, international tech companies 
  • Knowledge of the international technology talent trends and specifically, Spanish tech talent 
  • Proactivity, goal orientation, and business acumen
  • Problem-solving, conflict resolution, multitasking with ease
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for and understand a broad range of positions; specifically, in the Software Development, Product and IT
  • Curiosity about learning, growth mindset, open to improving and sharing knowledge
  • Vision, enthusiasm for new ideas, experience working in an agile environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with the leadership team, hiring managers, subject matter experts, and candidates
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as perfect grammar and command of the English language
  • Established and nurtured candidate network across the local and EU markets
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, supporting others when needed
  • Empathetic approach to team members, candidates, hiring teams, and peers
  • Experience in sourcing techniques through multiple channels
  • Strong knowledge of searching using online social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Google X-Ray search, Stackoverflow, Github, Slack
  • Good knowledge of TA tools, Microsoft Office Suite of applications and being Internet savvy, curious about learning more about technology and upcoming tools automating processes
  • Ability to write compelling technical job adverts and job descriptions, taking into considerations best practices and D&I standards
  • Proactive skills, working accurately with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility to change
