What you'll do 

As European Commercial Director, you will work with senior management to develop and execute a business strategy to deliver and grow revenue.  You will structure and manage a high-performing team, set clear objectives and expectations, and have a ruthless focus in delivering on company OKR’s.  You approach your job with a strategic mindset, use data to make informed decisions, work well across other departments, and liaise closely with Senior Management and ELT in designing revenue programs that will fuel hyper-growth to the organization.   

• Responsible for all OKR’s as it pertains to the Revenue team;

• Structures, develops, mentors, and manages a high-performance business development team;

• Works closely with Head of Sales in defining optimal sales strategies and pricing models across our advertising inventory;

• Works across internal and external teams to identify and implement other revenue generation opportunities; 

• Directly manages and protects core strategic media partnerships ;

• Aligning with marketing, works with media partnerships team on sourcing and closing new media deals;

• Effectively works across multiple departments and external agencies;

• Works closely with Senior Management on more complex business development deals ;

• Ensures reporting program is effectively designed and evolved to meet the needs of the organization;

• Identifies and communicates to senior management any new acquisition opportunities;

• Business travel with teams when necessary.

What you'll bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field;

• 10+ years digital sales / Business Development MGT experience;

• A strong leader, able to build, lead and inspire a high-performing team;

• Strong analytic skills, able to analyze and interpret data and develop actionable insights;

• Strategic thinker, able to anticipate, think critically, evaluate, and act;

• A communicator and relationship builder, able to navigate effectively across organizations and culture.
