Your mission 

In the IT Services Group at The Workshop, we are looking for several Business Analysts who will be critical to a wide range of IT services projects by capturing, elaborating, and documenting business requirements and analyzing, improving, and creating new processes to drive efficient and effective delivery

By working closely with project stakeholders - from clients and business sponsors to product owners and end users – she/he will be pivotal not only in the success of key projects, but also in improving the way those projects are delivered.  

The ideal business analyst will have excellent interpersonal skills, structured, organized, oriented to objectives, and be able to work with autonomy and propose solutions to the problems. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Collecting, writing, refining, validating and prioritising Business and Technical requirements.
  • Interact with Business stakeholders to understand needs and expectations regarding domain management activities, such as registration, hosting, certificates management, and DNS settings
  • Compose and implement User Stories.
  • Generating Standard Operational Procedures.
  • Assist and collaborate with Project Managers.
  • Analyze and manage requirements changes and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Interaction with Customers and management of their expectations.
  • Reviewing the quality of the deliverables from a business point of view.
  • Define as-is and to-be systems and processes, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain a technical understanding of the solution being delivered, and facilitate technical discussions with subject matter experts.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience writing/documenting user requirements/stories/use cases from analysing business needs and user needs.
  •  Experience coordinating analysis work using various documentation techniques to produce detailed specifications.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in systems and/or process analysis.
  • General IT technical knowledge and a willingness to learn.
  • IT work experience or studies related to this field

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with the Atlassian suite – Jira, Confluence
  • Solid knowledge of the Internet protocol suite (DNS, IP, etc.).
  • Expertise in at least one of these areas: domain management (registration, billing), web hosting, certificates management, DNS management.
  • Proven track in Technical Business Analysis.
