Your mission

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work with the Data Science team to enhance our data driven decision-making culture underpinned by experimentation. This next stage in our journey will leverage our deployment process capability having into consideration the post production Machine Learning lifecycle (monitoring, alerting, CI/CD, etc.), scalability and performance of our current deployment process.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and technical leads to deliver and leverage ML-based systems.

• Supporting, monitoring and enhancing current data science platform.

• Evaluate market fit for ML engineering platform evolution.

• Implement a robust system for measuring and optimizing the quality of deployed algorithms and models.

• Build and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for ML; Institute a process to handle model development, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning and data security

What you'll bring

• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.

• Software Engineering proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Java, Scala, Python or equivalent) used both for ML and automation tasks (ideal candidate should have a good combination of Java and python skillset)

• Experience deploying microservices (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Experience with streaming platform (Kafka, RabbitMQ,..)

• Experience with on premise data lakes ML toolset (in particular Cloudera stack).

• Experience working with rapid product development in an agile environment is preferred

Nice to have

• Experience with common ML frameworks such as Spark, MLlib, Tensorflow, PyTorch, XGBoost, or scikit-learn.

• Experience training, deploying and monitoring machine learning models with extensive knowledge of evaluation metrics and best practices.

• A passion for bringing ML to production.

• Experience with automated data pipeline and workflow management tools.

• Experience with relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience in machine learning operations
