Your mission
Within the Workshop, The IT Services Group is at the heart of the value chain the infrastructure Division, and provides business-critical IT services to a wide community of clients and internal users. ITSG covers a range of services from Desktop Support through to Data Centre, Engineering and Architecture functions.
You’ll be part of an Application Support team with the mission of reviewing business requirements, processes, re-engineering processes to improve efficiency, and performing the functional tasks required for a successful Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) implementation. D365FO application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and D365FO application technical architecture.
What you'll do
- As the domain expert in D365FO you will be able to create Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO strategy and roadmap.
- Provide expert advice and weighs in on complex decisions and problems that impact other teams or the company at large.
- Confidently communicates with senior stakeholders; manages expectations throughout a project and is comfortable presenting to and engaging in discussions with management.
- Foster collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives; ensures everyone is moving in the same direction in unison.
- Engage with external partners:
- to provide list of requirements associated to the product/service that is going to be provided.
- to ensure necessary support within D365FO; requirements to get the solution needed should be documented and provided to the external partner.
- Advise on complex D365FO business cases and propose comprehensive solutions based on D365FO:
- Create Solution design to address client business, interface and performance requirements.
- Create functional requirement and functional design for customisations.
- Create estimates for implementation tasks.
- Solution testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrate D365FO solution capabilities to different types of audiences and presenting complex information in a way that makes sense to all audiences alike
- Operate within the development team to implement D365FO capabilities.
- Provide D365FO SME expertise to our stakeholders and mentor team members.
- Functional testing and deployment of D365FO and SW packages working in this tool. Testing plan creation and completion after every test iteration.
- Functionality and processes instructions and documentation preparation.
- Support a D365FO large implementation.
- Provide support to business customers on daily operations and deliver solution documented.
- Conduct user and administrator trainings.
What you'll bring
- +5 years implementation experience in the role.
- Finance background is needed.
- Deep and broad knowledge of finance functional capabilities of D365FO. Appropriate Microsoft certification is desired:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
- Deep understanding D365FO modules – Procurement, Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Project Accounting, Fix Assets, Cash & Bank Management.
- Broad understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning and early live support.
- Business acumen: Business analysis. Business performance and process diagnostics and assessments.
- Supervising application design and architecture components.
- Supervising process and functional design activities.
- Creating functional requirements as an input to application design.
- Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.
- Driving test planning and execution.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Leadership skills.
- Results oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in unstructured environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills-'Customer Focus'. C-Suite stakeholders management.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision is key to being successful.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies is nice to have.
