Your mission
You’ll be responsible for the upkeep of the Malaga facilities with a hands on approach. There is a high level of organization and physical tasks in this role, requiring structure, accuracy and attention to detail. You have to be skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems. Duties include inspecting building, maintaining inventory and scheduling repairs. You will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
What you'll do
- Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical works, plumbing, painting, building works and carpentry.
- Events set up support.
- Inspect the building, equipment and systems to identify any issues.
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged appliances.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
- Plan and schedule repairs.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Research and comparison of vendor services for maintenance and improvement works.
- Keep records of completed works in the internal tools.
- Purchase and inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with contractors and other professionals during renovations.
- To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required as part the facilities management services.
