Your mission
As a Quality Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role supporting the engineering teams to deliver high-quality software. You’ll collaborate with other Quality team members to develop tools and utilities that make testing more effective and efficient.
You’ll bring knowledge of testing activities and quality practices, alongside a technical background that helps you understand software architecture, delivery tools, and automated test frameworks.

What you'll do
- Promote best practices in software testing within teams and guide their implementation.
- Gain a deep functional and technical understanding of the system and contribute to its overall quality strategy and roadmap.
- Contribute to test plans by promoting testing strategies and providing the quality perspective.
- Promote CI/CD best practices and the Definition of Done, emphasizing the importance of automated testing.
- Support Software Engineers with both technical and non-technical testing types.
- Work on quality engineering initiatives aimed at reducing technical debt, such as adding missing automated tests.
- Contribute to improving quality infrastructure, including migrating existing tests to newer platforms.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to educate Software Engineers on testing strategies and best practices.
- Run onboarding sessions for new team members covering testing strategies, principles, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of testing failures.
- Support teams with exploratory testing activities.
- Perform code reviews to ensure test implementations align with agreed test plans and strategies.
- Gather and use quality metrics to measure system health.
- Actively contribute in retrospective sessions.
- Identify areas for improvement, especially around processes and testing coverage.
What you'll bring
- High motivation and a desire to build a long-term career in quality engineering.
- Solid understanding of testing strategies across different technical layers and the ability to apply the right level of testing based on context.
- Demonstrated experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or JUnit.
- Expertise in manual testing approaches, such as exploratory testing.
- Comfortable coding in Java with the ability to debug and resolve issues independently.
- Knowledge of modern architectural patterns like microservices and communication styles (synchronous/asynchronous), with the ability to assess quality across distributed systems and their impact on testing, observability, and resilience.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD principles and experience working with or improving automated pipelines.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how quality integrates within it.
- Proactivity and a willingness to take ownership and lead problem-solving efforts when needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
