Your mission
You are an experienced Programme Manager who is passionate about delivering impactful Product & Services. In this role, you’ll lead strategic Programmes and complex Projects, collaborating across teams to ensure alignment with our organisational goals.
You will drive results with a focus on leadership, team development, and continuous improvement, while managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will report to the Enterprise Portfolio Management, an efficient, collaborative, and diverse Portfolio, Programme and Project management function. With a strategic mindset and agile approach, you'll provide visibility and guidance, ensuring our work delivers high business value and contribute to our broader objectives.
What you'll do
- Drive Programme and Project Delivery: Lead and oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring governance and alignment with business objectives. Proactively identify and manage dependencies, risks, and constraints, ensuring that all Programmes and Projects meet high standards and deadlines. Demonstrate ownership and accountability for the individual and team outcomes
- Leadership and Team Development: Mentor and support team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. Encourage continuous learning and development, helping individuals grow professionally and become high performers. Be a role model for change, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and driving action to improve team performance and efficiency. Challenge the status quo and foster an environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, trust, and collaboration. Use your influencing skills to gain alignment and ensure buy-in from various teams.
- Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with leadership to ensure that initiatives are aligned with broader organizational goals. Guide your team towards delivering on ambitious, high-impact Programmes and Projects while keeping the bigger picture in mind and adapting to shifting priorities. Think ahead and bring solutions for future problems.
- Effective Communication: Communicate Programme and Project updates clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences are informed and engaged.
- Ownership and Accountability: Lead by example in taking ownership of Programmes and Projects, ensuring teams deliver results and meet objectives while aligning with the organisation’s strategic direction. Encourage a culture of accountability and high standards within the team.

- Proven experience in leading large, complex, and critical projects, with a focus on managing change and driving results. You excel in an agile environment and can effectively navigate shifting priorities and constraints.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills in English. Comfortable communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed.
- Experience with iterative development, agile principles, and project management frameworks like PMP, Prince2, or Scrum. Comfortable managing concurrent initiatives with agility and flexibility.
- Strong proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite, MS Project, MS Visio), and adaptable to using new technologies to streamline processes and enhance project outcomes.
- A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement in processes and protocols, and the ability to lead change initiatives effectively with your team.
- A relevant degree in a technical or business discipline (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business) is a plus.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile Scrum Master) is desirable.
- Line management experience would be advantageous.
