Your mission
Procurement and vendor management services are an integral part of the Business Relationship Management (BRM) function, focused on building, maintaining, and strengthening strategic partnerships that drive value and success.
The BRM team oversees the entire purchasing and supplier-relationship management lifecycle, with its policies and protocols, to address business needs across departments and locations worldwide.
Our primary objective is to achieve organizational success through efficient sourcing strategies, purchasing workflows, contract negotiations, and closeouts.
We focus on strong supplier and business relationship ownership - which involves defining optimal commercial models, measuring performance, and maintaining strong financial oversight. This strategy leads to cost savings, risk management, and reliability throughout our supply chain.
As a Procurement Business Intern, you'll support core procurement activities and work closely with legal, finance, and business stakeholders to facilitate the acquisition of goods and services - contributing to the overall effectiveness of our purchase-to-pay system.
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate on various procurement initiatives — all within a fast-paced, collaborative culture that thrives on innovation, decisive action, and a spirit of play.
What you'll do
Handle professionally highly sensitive and confidential vendor and contract data (input / maintenance).
Review and verify the accuracy of data in our repository to ensure compliance with company standards.
Engage effectively with internal stakeholders for any data clarifications or updates needed.
Assist in the preparation of internal reports on vendor / contract data health.
Capture outcomes during team meetings and assists with following up on action items.
Provide feedback on improvements to ways of working in alignment to our policies and procedures.
Assist in tracking purchases within the Purchase-to-Pay process (requests, orders and invoices), if needed.
Contribute to successful execution of tenders to identify potential new vendors or suppliers, if needed.
What you'll bringIt is essential that the candidate is eligible to sign a formal internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas) with a university or educational institution for a minimum period of three months.
Currently pursuing a vocational education and training (FP) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of procurement practices, contract management experience or compliance background is a plus.
What you'll gainFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), procurement software and tools is a plus.
Real-world experience in procurement practices, such as assisting with purchasing workflows, conducting market research, etc.
