Your Mission
As a Principal Software Engineer you will join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding background in software development, architecture, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. You will play a critical role in driving our technology strategy, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure software products. You will also be a role model and a career mentor for your team, and you will be an active participant in much wider and higher-level technical decisions, requiring engagement with all other technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
· Provide technical direction and leadership for software engineering projects, ensuring best practices in software development, architecture, and design in collaboration with architecture team.
· Promote coding standards by conducting code reviews and assuring the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
· Lead and support key initiatives regardless of the business domain, adding immediate value when designated.
· Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement around technologies and challenges.
· Work closely with cross-functional and central supporting teams to achieve seamless integration and delivery of software products.
· Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of software systems.
· Pioneer the emerging industry trends by encouraging the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
· Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architecture, design, and implementation details. Work closely with other specialists (quality, security, product) to make our software design, delivery, and quality unbeatable.
What you'll bring
· Ability to work with multiple technologies and proficient in other engineering functions like DevOps, Quality and Security practices within an Agile environment.
· Expertise on different product domains of our business and/or engineering functions.
· Mastered experience as a full-cycle software engineer: analysis > design > code/test > deployment > maintenance/support.
· Capability to influence across the Engineering function without direct authority
· Demonstrable solid experience designing and maintaining microservice-based architectures.
· Stakeholder management experience, adapting communication style to clearly express complex technical concepts and ideas using appropriate business language.
· A proven track record of playing a hands-on role within a fast-paced organization.
· Proficient analysing and finding solutions for complex problems. Making decisions based on the business and organizational goals, collaborating with other teams such as Product, Design, Talent.
· Strong experience and knowledge of continuous deployment.
· Exhibit knowledge in algorithmic programming in multiple languages.
· Mastery in scaling infrastructure and ensuring the system is performant.
· Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to provide empathetic feedback, challenge, and influence other.
· Passionate and proactive in building cutting-edge, high-quality applications.
