Your mission

Our IT Services Group is looking for a talented Platform Engineer to come and help us secure, manage, and automate our complex infrastructure. 

You will develop our future and operate our present, you will work with Linux systems from CentOS to Ubuntu while helping us on our Openstack journey.

What you'll do

  • Learn our global environment, help us care for, nurture, and grow our infrastructure.
  • Work with talented people to create simple yet powerful deployment processes that increase both velocity and our quality.
  • Participate in the design of solutions for our enterprise. Help shape how we do security, recovery, availability, and performance.
  • Find innovative ways to help us reduce maintenance, always looking for automation.
  • Work closely with our partners to support our own cloud platform.
  • Use Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, and propose new tools and processes at any time. 
  • Work with distributed teams in a Global company to improve key metrics and work towards.
  • Work in Agile flows in an environment of continual improvement. 

What you'll bring

  • Experience with systems administration in Linux/Unix (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc.) and a desire to learn Openstack.
  • Experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), DNS, and HTTP.
  • Experience with automation and scripting in a Linux environment (bash, python, etc.) 
  • Wide experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible or similar.
