What you'll do

As the Application Support Engineer – Dynamics 365 will be part of our team and will join our expanding Information Technology Services Group.

You will be responsible for ensuring the administration, performance, availability, and security of the on premise Dynamics 365 ERP system. You will also be the point of contact for various teams especially with Finance.

·       Be point of reference for all questions related to on premise Microsoft Dynamics 365.

·       Install, configure, maintain and monitor all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 in both production and non-production environments.

·       Evaluate and respond to logs and alerts related to Dynamics 365 system stability or performance

·       Monitor daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are backed up successfully to the appropriate media and necessary replication targets

·       Manage the user role configuration of the Dynamics 365 system.

·       Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning and reconfiguration of the Dynamics 365 environment.

·       Proactively identify ways to improve reliability and efficiency of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and their environments, including monitoring, reporting and trending.

·       Responsible to enforce policies and follow best practices relating to security and system stability.

·       Responsible for contributing to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 strategy and roadmap.

·       Optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 performance through identifying and implementing upgrades and improvements, proactively creating scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

·       Prepare quality documentation and specifications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation outlines, standards, best practices and training materials.

·       Drive continuous performance improvements, identify and implement processes and procedures that improve the effectiveness for users and meet best practice.

What you'll bring

The ideal Application Support Engineer - Dynamics 365 will possess some or all of the following attributes:

·       Demonstrated seniority and overall IT experience in Dynamics 365 implementations

·       Sound knowledge in the following:

o   Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance administration

o   Implementation of on premise Dynamics 365 solutions and its supporting hardware and software

o   MS services such as Active Directory and how it relates to Dynamics 365 administration and configuration

o   Dynamics 365 security implementation

o   Dynamics 365 integration components, including Application Integration Framework, DMF and other tools

o   Deploying 365 software modifications

o   SQL database administration

·       Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business functions

·       Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team

·       Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
