What you'll do

As the Accounting Manager, you will perform in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and specifically in both Spanish GAAP and IFRS. To be successful in this role, you must be able to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to daily activities and will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.

You will:

·        Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy

·        Oversee accounting daily operations

·        Deal with local audits, both internal and external

·        Fist PoC with Tax Authorities for submit VAT and other direct and indirect taxes and deal with any requirement from Tax Agency

·        Perform regularly Balance Sheet review

·        Support budget and forecasting activities

·        Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations in multi-currency ledgers and revaluations

·        Provide support, where required, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of departmental and business goals and requirements

What you'll bring

·        Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience and supervisor role

·        Advanced or Business Level in English, both oral and written

·        Experience of a Spanish Company audit

·        The Group Accounting System is MS D365, experience with this system is the preference

·        Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook

·        Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, organization and proactive skills, paying attention into detail

·        Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, planning accordingly to meet the tight deadlines

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or professional accounting designation
