Your mission

As a Finance Intern, you will provide assistance in maintaining financial records. You’ll be responsible for processing AP invoices and payments, employee expenses, and a variety of recurring accounting transactions. The position may also be responsible for various clerical duties, such as maintaining records and preparing reports.

What you'll do

• Review and verify all travel expenses (air, hotels, and expenses) and all other expenses paid to employees (gym, etc.), working closely with the Workplace team.

• Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

• Post invoices and payments onto the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365), following the Finance processes and procedures in place.

• Prepare payment runs for Accountants.

• Post all bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records.

• Assist in the maintenance of vendor files, including vendor terms and contact details.

• Process assigned month-end activities.

• Provide support, where required, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of departmental goals and requirements.

• Maintain department files and databases as appropriate.

• Assist the Management Accountants when requested.

• Handle professionally highly sensitive and confidential vendor and contract data (input / maintenance).

• Review and verify the accuracy of data in our repository to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Capture outcomes during team meetings and assist with following up on action items.

• Provide feedback on improvements to ways of working in alignment with our policies and procedures.

What you'll bring

• It is essential that the candidate is eligible to sign a formal internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas) with a university or educational institution for a minimum period of three months.

• Currently pursuing a vocational education and training (FP) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently with a proactive manner.

• Advanced or Business Level English, both oral and written.

• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and proactive skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office — Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be a plus.
